The Queens Square

The Queens Square shopping area in Adeyfield has a variety of shops a post office, pub and a garage. It’s a busy place but it has no bank. The nearest bank is in Wood Lane End, just a short walk from my home.

Wood Lane End

Wood Lane End is a pleasant road with detached houses and bungalows on both sides, the gardens are well kept and as the seasons change, there is always something different to see and admire as you walk along.

Recently, a developer bought eight of the properties, soon the site was cleared and new buildings appeared. Everyone wants a home and the site is far from finished, so perhaps it’s too soon to judge, but there are so many buildings being built so close together in such a small space that the area is being over-built and so much is being lost.
