William Hall was born in 1894 and was 1 of 6 son’s & 4 daughters, born to William & Eliza Hall of 2 Frogmore Cresent, Apsely End, Hemel Hempstead.

William was formally employed at Kent’s Brushes, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead.

Service Number: 2181
1st Battalion – Hertfordshire Regiment – Fought on the Western Front

Died of wounds whilst acting as a Stretcher Bearer with the Red Cross Society, in France & Flanders on 7 February 1915 – aged 21.
